Whereas other business networking groups focus on generating referrals which may result in incremental transactional business, we provide a forum for dynamic individuals to meet and work together to grow their business through exchange of qualified leads, ideas and expertise.

We are truly international and are the only weekly networking group who can, and regularly do, involve overseas participants.

Unlike many networking groups, we do not preclude participants from joining other networking organisations, in fact we positively encourage it.

Many of our participants are also members of The Institute of Directors and the Chambers of Commerce.

 

How it works

Participants meet regularly both 'virtually' by phone & web and 'face to face' at networking events held in upmarket locations.

By meeting regularly, they expand their network of valuable business contacts and grow their businesses.

Phone and web meetings take place once a week. Face to face social networking meetings are held at least once per quarter.

Participants work together passing leads and exchanging skills within our informal honour system.

  • Participants offer each other commission on orders resulting from leads.

  • Participants exchange time helping other members on a like for like basis.

It works because our weekly phone and web based virtual meetings follow the same agenda which has been proven to produce effective results.

The sole objective of every virtual meeting is to enable participants to make valuable new business contacts.

Although our quarterly face to face meetings are less structured with the emphasis on getting to know existing members better and meeting new contacts, we are not a social club.

Weekly virtual meetings

Participants join a 1 hour phone and web based virtual meeting at the same time each week to be introduced to new contacts and 'touch base' with people they are already working with.

No special equipment or technical skills are needed. You simply dial a London number from from your regular phone (land line or mobile) and log onto a website.

  • The conference call runs for one hour during which every member is given 2 minutes to expo their company's products and services to fellow participants.

The objective is to impart enough information to allow other members to generate qualified leads, not to make direct sales to those on the call.

Face to face meetings

Whilst meeting by phone and web is a great way of saving time during the busy working day, there is no substitute for getting to know people in a comfortable and relaxing environment.

Face to face meetings are held every quarter so that existing participants can get to know each other better and introduce new members to the network.

 

  • Meetings are typically held from 19:00 until late at an upmarket central London venue.

  • The first hour is dedicated to a formal presentations from participants and guest speakers. The remaining time is given over to informal networking.

Who should participate

The Ozone Business Network is aimed at Entrepreneurs, Executives, Senior Managers & Partners in successful growing companies wishing to extend their network of business contacts.

Companies selling knowledge based products and services which do not rely on geographic proximity find our virtual meeting model particularly attractive and successful. Examples include:

  • B2B services such as banking, accountancy and law firms.

  • Web design and Search Engine Optimisation.

  • Public Relations and internet marketing.

  • Executive mentoring and consultancy services.

Free Participation

Participation in the Ozone Business Network is FREE of charge. Here's why:

Most networking organisations' core business is running networking events. They exist to make a profit from their members.

If you've attended traditional breakfast meetings, you'll be familiar with the model. They typically charge an annual membership fee and between £10 and £20 for each meeting.

We are different. We do not need (or want) to make money from running the Ozone Business Network.

We use the term Participant instead of Member to highlight the difference between our engagement model and those of 'for-profit' business networks.

Our core business is providing businesses with audio and web conferencing services to help them save money on business travel.

Weekly phone and web based virtual meetings are powered by our OzoneENTERPRISE service, the same service which we sell.

Since we own the platform, our incremental costs for hosting the meetings are minimal and hence we do not need to charge you for participating.

Virtual networking meetings demonstrate the benefits of being able to meet by phone and web and help increase Ozone Conferencing's brand awareness.

It sounds like an overused cliché but it's true, the Ozone Business Network is genuinely run by the participants, for the participants.

Participation Requirements

There are no formal requirements for participation however, to keep the quality of contacts high, startups and one-man-bands are encouraged only if they are able to provide real value to the group.

Ideal participants are those from registered companies and partnerships which have been trading for at least one year.

How to participate
