We've taken some of the best concepts from traditional networking groups and made them better by using our advanced technology to remove the need to travel to meetings and eliminate geographical boundaries.

• Reach - Most business networking groups are constrained by geography. By joining the Ozone Business Network you meet people in your business space not just your local neighbourhood. Those people can be literally anywhere in the world. To give you an idea of our geographical reach, here are just a few places from which members regularly join.

• Focus - We don't pretend to be all things to all people. Our focus is on helping executives and entrepreneurs grow their businesses by making contacts in sectors which are complementary to their own.

• Prestige - Our monthly face to face meetings are held in venues which you can be proud to invite your guests to.

Whereas other business networking groups focus on generating referrals which may result in incremental transactional business, we provide a forum for dynamic individuals to meet and work together to grow their business through exchange of qualified leads, ideas and expertise.

We are truly international and are the only networking group who can, and regularly do, involve overseas participants.

Unlike many networking groups, we do not preclude members from joining other networking organisations, in fact we positively encourage it. Many of our members are also members of The Institute of Directors and the Chambers of Commerce.

How it works

Members of the Ozone Business Network meet regularly both 'virtually' by phone & web and 'face to face' at networking events held in upmarket central locations.

By meeting regularly they expand their network of valuable business contacts and grow their businesses.

Business focused phone and web meetings take place once a week. Face to face social networking meetings are held once a month.

Members work together passing leads and exchanging skills within our honour system. Full details are available upon request but in summary:

• Members offer other members commission on orders resulting from leads.

• Members exchange time helping other members on a like for like basis.

Upon joining, each member is assigned to a group which contains members who are in complimentary but non competing lines of business. Each group has a leader chosen from its members.

Members of each group meet virtually at the same time every week by web and phone. Meetings are chaired by the group leader.

Example groups include:

• Financial Services - Accountants, IFAs, Mortgage Brokers

• Property - Estate Agents, Construction firms, Architects

• B2B Services - Advertising agencies, Translation agencies, Law firms

Why it works

It works because our weekly virtual group meetings follow the same agenda which has been proven to produce effective results. The sole objective of every virtual meeting is to generate more business for our members.

Although our monthly face to face meetings are less structured with the emphasis on getting to know existing members better and meeting new contacts, we are not a social club.

Members commit to making a demonstrable contribution to the group in return for the efforts of others.

Weekly virtual meetings

Members of each group participate in a 1 hour virtual meeting at the same time each week by phone and web with the sole purpose of generating more business for fellow members.

• Members dial into a conference call chaired by their group leader by calling a local rate telephone number and entering a PIN. Meetings are held at the same time each week.

• The conference call runs for one hour during which every member is given 2 minutes to pitch their company's products and services to fellow participants. The objective is to impart enough information to allow other members to generate qualified leads, not to make direct sales to those on the call.

Groups are limited to 15 members to ensure that everyone has ample opportunity participate within the 1 hour virtual meeting slots.

Note: No special equipment or technical skills are needed. Simply dial in from your regular phone (landline or mobile).

Monthly Face to face meetings

Face to face meetings are held every month so that existing members can get to know each other better and introduce new members to the network.

Whilst meeting by phone and web is a great way of saving time during the busy working day, there is no substitute for getting to know people in a comfortable and relaxing environment.

Meetings are typically held from 19:00 until late at an upmarket central London venue (currently The Little Ship Club). The first hour is dedicated to a formal group meeting, the remaining time is given over to informal networking.

Companies which sell knowledge based products and services and do not rely on geographic proximity find our virtual meeting model particularly attractive and successful. Examples include:

• Companies providing B2B services such as banking, accountancy and law firms.

• Web design and Search Engine Optimisation companies.

• Public Relations and internet marketing companies.

• Executive mentoring and consultancy services.

How to join

Prospective new members are invited attend as a guest at a weekly virtual meeting appropriate to their sector.

Membership is FREE but by invitation only. It's important that you attend one of our weekly virtual meetings to introduce yourself to existing members. There is no charge for attending, all you pay is the cost of a local rate phone call.

Membership is restricted to registered companies and partnerships which have been trading for at least one year.
